I expected better of CNN

CNN make a common mistake

Now, whilst I’m not a great fan of highlighting simple spelling errors (everyone makes them, after all), the plural of most words ending in ‘-ium’ is ‘-ia’. This slippage is getting more and more common, and I don’t like it.

Stick to fighting, Rocky.

“It ain’t over ’til it’s over.” Not so. “It ain’t (ugh) over till it’s over.” “Till” is a word in its own right, and not a contraction of “until”. This picture doesn’t have it (it was the only one I could find) but the UK version of this poster featured a second apostrophe, making it: “It ain’t over ’til’ it’s over”; which is just ridiculous.

Your kidding, right?

Win on the night!

Yes, you’ve spotted it:

…and your through

There’s also a misused ellipsis in there for good measure.  Well done!
