Stick to fighting, Rocky.
2 January 2007“It ain’t over ’til it’s over.” Not so. “It ain’t (ugh) over till it’s over.” “Till” is a word in its own right, and not a contraction of “until”. This picture doesn’t have it (it was the only one I could find) but the UK version of this poster featured a second apostrophe, making it: “It ain’t over ’til’ it’s over”; which is just ridiculous.
Your kidding, right?
22 November 2006Yes, you’ve spotted it:
There’s also a misused ellipsis in there for good measure. Well done!
